Once part of the Pottawatomie Indian Reservation, Paxico's origins date
back to the mid 1800's when the railroads reigned. While the iron horses
still run through this little town, historic Paxico is now home to a unique
array of shops which feature a large selection of quality antiques, vintage
stoves, collectibles, gifts, Americana, primitives and architectural items.
Paxico also offers two delightful eateries and a winery. Enjoy shopping,
browsing and experiencing a piece of Kansas history.

On Mill Creek visitors enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing and taking in the
local wildlife. You can take the Mill Creek-Skyline Scenic Drive amidst the
rolling prairies and farmlands of the beautiful Flint Hills.
