Once part of the Pottawatomie Indian Reservation, Paxico's
origins date back to the mid 1800's when the railroads
reigned. While the iron horses still run through this little town,
historic Paxico is now home to a unique array of shops which
feature antiques, vintage stoves, collectibles, gifts, Americana
and architectural items. Paxico also offers three delightful
eateries, a pastry shop, art studio and convenience store.
Enjoy shopping and experiencing a piece of Kansas history.

On Mill Creek visitors enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing and
taking in the local wildlife. And the Mill Creek-Skyline Scenic
Drive takes you through the rolling prairies and farmlands of
the beautiful Flint Hills.
